State Branch of ACA

NCCA

The North Carolina Counseling Association is NCs state branch of the American Counseling Association. NCCA works in conjunction with ACA to bring its members up to date information on the counseling profession. The North Carolina Counseling Association is dedicated to promoting the development of the individual professional counselor, advancing the counseling profession, and using the profession and practice of counseling to improve the quality of life for North Carolina’s citizens. NCCA Membership is separate from the ACA membership.

Dues are Separate

While the North Carolina Counseling Association is a branch of the ACA, membership dues are separate.  Dues paid to ACA only cover ACA activities and NOT NCCA activities.

How Membership Works

Membership Year

The membership year runs from July 1 to June 30.

Joining Midyear?

For new members, those who join throughout the current membership year, a discount based on the quarter you join will automatically be applied to the following year dues.

Division Dues

AFTER you have paid for your annual NCCA dues, you can then join as many divisions as you wish. Divisions are available for current NCCA members only.

Therefore, after you pay for your current NCCA dues, sign up for any/all divisions by going to the Divisions page to check them all out, and then clicking on NCCA Divisions - Sign Up to get active.
